Tiger Woods Announces His Wife Is Pregnant (Again)

Tiger Woods hasn’t played competitive golf since last June when he played won the U.S. Open on an injured knee and subsequently was forced to leave the PGA Tour for the rest of the season following reconstructive surgery.

Now, word’s out that Woods, the world’s No. 1 golfer, has kept plenty busy during his rehabilitation.

Woods, who married his former nanny in 2004, has announced on his web site that his wife Elin is pregnant with the couple’s second child.

The couple didn’t provide a specific date, but the family addition is expected in “late winter.”

Woods’ first child, daughter Sam, was born on the Monday following the 2007 U.S. Open.

“Elin is feeling great and we are both thrilled,” Woods said on his web site. “While my injury has been disappointing and frustrating, it has allowed me to spend a lot of time watching Sam grow. I can’t begin to tell you how rewarding it is being a dad and spending time with her and Elin. “The injury has been a blessing and a disappointment.”
