Grand Champions Cup in November in Japan

U.S. Men’s Volleyball Team will play Cuba in the gold medal match of the NORCECA Continental Championship on Saturday after sweeping Puerto Rico, 25-16, 25-23, 25-22 in Friday night’s semifinal in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.

David Lee (Alpine, Calif.) led the U.S. scoring effort with 15 points on 13 kills, one block and one ace. His hitting percentage was 81.25 (13 of 16 with no faults). Reid Priddy (Richmond, Va.) added 13 points on 11 kills and two blocks. He completed 11 of 18 kill attempts (61 percent) with one fault. Evan Patak (Pleasanton, Calif.) contributed eight points on seven kills and one block.
