No North American Formula One In 2009
North American Formula One fans will have to travel a little farther next year to witness F-1 racing.
The Canadian Grand Prix, the only North American stop on the international circuit, has been dropped from the schedule in 2009 and the inaugural Abu Dhabi GP has been added.
The schedule change is not to the liking of Indianapolis Motor Speedway officials, who belive a world championship circuit should include at U.S. race.
The famed speedway was to again host the U.S. Grand Prix, which has been the only F1 race in the United States this decade and was last held in July, 2007.
